Tough Mudder Charity Event 21st May 2016
On 21st May two of our senior management team will be joining forces with other members of the Sterling Supergroup to take part in the annual Tough Mudder event in Grantham. The event puts participants through their paces by asking them to complete a 10-12 mile run whilst overcoming mud, water and many other challenging obstacles along the way – definitely not an event for the faint hearted!
Sterling Supergroup are celebrating their 50th Anniversary this year and as part of this exciting milestone they are aiming to raise £50,000 for charity by taking part in the Tough Mudder event - £1,000 for every year the group has been trading.
Members of the Sterling Supergroup have selected four charities that will each benefit from £10,000 if the company achieves their ambitious target: British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research, Diabetes UK and Help for Heroes. A fifth charity will then be selected at random during the September Conference – members who participated will put forward their favourite local charity to be considered, and the winning charity will also receive £10,000.
